BR-1001
This range of Doppler Radar antenna is specifically & specially made for measuring muzzle velocity (range and accuracy measurement) as well as for short- to medium-range velocity measurements.
Description
The Doppler principle is used by the BR-1001 Doppler radar antenna to determine an object’s velocity.
Depending on the caliber, it can be powerful enough to measure at long range but is best suited for measuring velocity at the gun’s muzzle.
This radar device works best for projectile measurements ranging from 5.56mm to 155mm.
The BR- 1001 radar antenna is made up with a combination of transmitting and a receiving antenna (bistatic configuration). To accommodate short- and long-range measurements, the transmitter output power can be set between 0.2W and 2W.
In order to offer the greatest sensitivity and detection range, the receiver has an extremely low noise figure.
Performance
Based on real measurements of various projectile caliber’s, the BR-1001 unit’s performance has been determined. The impact of the projectile aspect angle along the trajectory is taken into account when calculating the range performance.
BR-1022
This range of Doppler radar antenna is developed specifically for measuring velocity of all kind of projectiles from short- to medium-range.
Description
This Doppler radar antenna is used to calculate the velocity of the moving objects with its Dopler principle.
It is especially well suited for measuring velocity at the gun muzzle but is also strong enough to measure velocity at a short and medium range with projectile calibers ranging from 5.56 mm to 155 mm, which includes standard projectiles, base-bleed, tracers, APFSDS, sub-calibers, rockets, etc.
In addition to the bistatic configuration & velocity as same as of Doppler radar BR1001, it also offers sufficient filtering to lessen the possibility of interference from other adjacent radars using the same frequency range.
Performance
Based on real measurements of various projectile calibers, the BR-1022 unit’s performance has been determined.
The impact of the projectile aspect angle along the trajectory is taken into account when calculating the range performance in the table below.
