B804 Durability Tester

According to NIJ 0101.06 Ballistic Resistance of Body Armor, The B804 Durability Tester is made to evaluate hard armour or plate inserts.

After being exposed to conditions of heat, moisture, and mechanical wear, hard Armour plates or inserts are put through tests that are meant to give some indication of the armor’s ability to maintain ballistic performance. This test is only meant to be used with rigid systems. By using the provided tie bolts, the apparatus must be secured to the ground.
