B472 Precision Light Screen
Standard Equipment by HPI, Austria
Designed for use in indoor shooting ranges but can also be used outdoors or in covered facilities in dry conditions. Decide projectile velocity by measuring time.
Accuracy: < ± 0.05 % for base trigger when using nose trigger accuracy depends on projectile shape, but is< ± 0.5 %.
Rate of fire: theoretically up to 20.000 rounds per min., The actual rate depends on:
- Distance from the muzzle
- Shock waves
- Intensity of gas cloud
- Range design
Suitable for
- Measuring in subsonic and supersonic ranges
- Measuring of single shots and bursts of – All calibre sizes.
- Measuring of shot interval times and Rate of Fire (ROF)
Features
- Large sensor area
- Infrared Transmitter, infrared Receiver
- No controls on the Light Screen
- Unaffected by changing of ambient light
- Simple connection to a PC
